I’M NOT DEAD.

I have just been very..shamefully…inactive. With…stuff. Yeah. Stuff.

Anyywayy. I saw How To Train your Dragon last night. BEST MOVIE EVER! I think I actually kinda started to cry when I saw what happened to Hiccup’s leg though. But oh well, at least he didn’t completely die.

AND TOOTHLESS WAS SOOOOO CUTE! Oh my god I want a pet dragon sooo badly now. 😀

So, while on the subject of HTTYD…I am in desperate need of inspiration for drawing. Who says I draw charecters (and dragons) from the movie? 😀

  1. You cried, too! I feel a lot better now about that ^^” I also started tearing up when they were like, “He’s alive!” and Astrid got this relieved, trying-to-act-casual look on her face–the animation was SOO good, I felt like I was feeling her emotions!

I totally agree! I have two nightfury dragonlings! I also like the Deadly Nadders and the Hideous Zipplebacks and the Terrible Terrors ^^

    I DO! IDOIDOIDOIDO!!! ^^

My one regret for you is that you didn’t see it until NOW! that’s, like, over a year of your life that could have been filled with How to Train Your Dragon, but wasn’t! TT_TT

    1. I know! I mean, I have been meaning to watch it since it came out, but…the economy’s tough, you know? Couldn’t get into the theaters, couldn’t find it on the TV, mom never bothered renting it.

And haha, I’ll get right on with the drawings 😀 I’ll post them here when I’m done. First up, Hiccup 😀

Lol, good, I was hoping I wasn’t the only one that was crying. Honestly, HTTYD has some of the best animation I have EVER seen, EVER. It was even better than Toy Story 3 (that one made me cry too) and Tangled (tear-a-palooza XD). And the dragons! Omg. I want a Toothless stuffy now. (I already have two dragons, but they aren’t HTTYD brand, they’re Webkinz :B)

      1. YAY! I can’t WAIT to see Hiccup! ^^

Ick, Toy Story 3 should NOT have beat HTTYD! The story was totally unoriginal, the plot was not surprising at all, and the animation–well, let’s just say that HTTYD explored animating clouds, water, and DRAGONS, while Toy Story 3 explored animating toys, something the studio had already done TWICE. And I’m so glad to hear that I wasn’t the only one who cried during Tangled, too! I started crying at the beginning of the scene where the whole town is releasing the lanterns, and Flynn and Rapunzel see them for the first time, and then I cried when Flynn (SPOILER!). The animation in that movie was great but, once again, nothing new–except maybe her hair, that must’ve taken a LOT of work ^^
