The Staff Members
If you are in the presence of the Supreme Machine Lord, you are either bowing or dead! He is not to be fooled with, for he is dangerous and untrustworthy! If you dare try to outwit him, remember, he is just as intelligent as he is powerful, and there is a reason even doomsday machines bow down to him in fear.
In BotB, he is a Jedi who will try to stop the war, and keep it peaceful at all costs.
You may be wondering what happened to all the other authors, like Jes, BA, Storm, the Boot, and everyone else. If you don’t know, just scroll down to the WTR History section of the About page.

Where Thunder Roars
This blog was created by Poptropical Thunder in hopes that this would help thousands of Poptropicans to lead a better life on Poptropica. But, for some strange reason, everybody stopped talking about Poptropica. The exact date of the creation of this blog is April 14, 2009, although it was unknown for a while.
This blog, as you may have noticed, has many pages, so they were organised into one page called Old Authors’ Material.

Commenting Rules
In order to continue commenting on this blog without getting blacklisted, you must follow these rules. If you violate a rule, then you will receive a warning via-email. If you continue to do so, then you will be blacklisted. ( Blacklisting is being banned via comments.)
Please just follow these rules and let everybody have a good time!
1. No bad words. No swearing. “Bad words” are not only common swear words, but any words that may be rude or offensive to other bloggers/readers.
2. No Spamming. Spam is meaningless, imaginary words like “hyghiwej”.Spamming is also using too many smilies, which are not bad, but if you fill an entire comment will nothing but smilies, it is qualified as spam. Please don’t do this, as it wastes our time and delays us from bringing you quality news and updates.
3. Use manners and be respectful to faculty and other bloggers/readers. Be nice and use common manners with other people. Remember that they are human, like you. If you do something that is in any way offensive to other players, you will have to
a) Apologize to the person offended;
b) Apologize to staff who had to spend extra time sorting out the problem;
c) Pay the normal rule-violation consequences.
4. Do not reveal personal information. Do not under any circumstances share personal information.
What is personal information? Your address, your school, your full name all qualify. We will accept age, gender, and your first name, and maybe your country and state too.
5. No murder/death threats. Revealing the fact that you are a homicidal psychopath doesn’t help solve problems. It doesn’t really help you make friends, either. Killing people doesn’t make them like you, it just makes them dead!

History of Where Thunder Roars
WTR started out as Poptropicalthunder’s Blog, or PTB. It was a completely Poptropica-related blog. PTB got famous when an author from here who just got accepted into the world-famous Poptropica Help Blog told everyone about PTB. The visitors came piling in, and everyone liked the blog so much that people started asking to become authors at PTB, and there were thirty-six of them.
Soon, everyone got tired of Poptropica. Everyone was talking about random things and stories and what happened at school. It was a popular and thriving blog, with a new post on the average of every three hours. Many people would stay up late, checking PTB for new posts. And the PHB chat was pretty popular with PTB authors, too.
But then it happened. Everyone stopped posting. It came to three posts a week, and then about every author left. They still haven’t come back to this day. But luckily, other people have been hired. It’s only seventeen authors, with only eight from the original 36, but soon it will be back to its original community state. Now there are about three to ten posts a day. Not as much as before, which was about fifteen a day, but it’s a start. The name has been changed from Poptropical Thunder’s Blog to Where Thunder Roars.
And that’s WTR so far.

Hiring
Hiring is currently on hold. We will reopen most likely around fall.
We are looking for new authors. You need to have proper grammar and English, and if you want to be an author here just comment and ask. Include a blog or something that we can look at to see if you are worthy, and then it will be decided. If you are accepted in, you will be only an author until you start posting, and then you will become an administrator.

Heres how I do it. I go to blog.poptropica.com and then right click the picture I want to post,and then press the “Save As” button. I name to photo and go to wordpress.com and log in. I start a new post and presss upload picture. I select that photo and copy and paste the HTML code for it where ever I need it.
