This. Anime. Series. Is. Awesome.

It’s called Shakugan no Shana, which translates to Shana of the Burning Eyes. I’ve only watched 2 and a half episodes of this anime series. Here’s a summary.
He had thought his normal days would last forever, until they were ended abruptly by an encounter with a girl with red hair and eyes. He named her Shana.
Not long after he enters high school, Sakai Yuji’s normal days come to an end. He sees something bizarre on his way home: people are frozen in a strange fire, and a monster that looks like a large doll is attacking them. Just when he’s about to be killed, a girl in a dark cloak wielding a large sword appears, and slices the monster in half. Although Yuji survives the strange encounter, the girl informs him of a desolate truth: “You don’t ‘exist’ anymore.”
She calls herself a Flame Haze who hunts “Guze no Tomogara” [people of the Crimson World]; intruders from another world. She explains to him that he is a “Torch”, a substitute of Yuji whose “existence” has already been devoured. She also told him that he is a special Torch, “Mystis”, which contains a precious item in it. When he looks at his chest, he sees within himself a faint flame, just as she said.
It is in this way that his eternal struggle alongside the girl begins. (Source: AnimeNFO)
It’s kinda hard to explain by myself. But any girl with long red hair, red eyes, and a samurai-style blade with diamond shapes on the handle who fights against Crimson Detizens or whatever they’re called catches the attention of me.

The floating guy is the master Crimson Detizen, Hunter. The doll he is carrying is Marianne (you can barely see her). The red-haired girl with embers flying off her is Shana. The guy with brown hair who’s really stunned (you just can’t see it) is Yuji.
When Shana’s not fighting anybody, she has black hair, brown eyes, and, apparently, a love for melon bread. ^_^
So I’ve been addicted to this series. Yeah. I’ll go and finish the episode now. That picture up there is where I’m up to, so well, I wanna see what happens next! BT out!
*dashes*
Here’s one more epic image:

I’ve seen quite a few of those episodes! It’s an epic series. ^^ Even though Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (or Heaven-Piercing Gurren Lagann) is my main anime, I still love that one. >83

I don’t really watch Anime. (Unless The Legend of Korra counts, but I don’t think it does.)
But that sounds like an interesting show. I’ll have to look it up sometime.

After watching a few more episodes, I made some awkward errors on my explanation. Hunter’s not his name, BT! And also, he isn’t the main boss guy, BT! Oh well. Shoulda made this post after I watched some more eps.
