Where Thunder Roars

So yesterday I decided to try out some graphics designing. And, before this post goes any further, can I be this blog’s graphics designer?? I LOVE GD’ing and I do know my tools, if I say so myself. ^^ Even though it took me 9 hours, I really enjoyed creating.

The theme I was going for was summer.

How do you guys like it? If everyone likes it, I’ll make it the new header. But it’s pretty crappy and I didn’t even NOTICE it was girly. D:

I have this idea, that maybe I could create a new header each month, with a topic that one of you say? Or maybe I’m being sorta bossy. ^^”

It was all made in Paint Tool SAI. Here’s a walkthrough:

SO. On my first layer I grab the bucket tool and fill it up with a base pink (one of the first things that made it girly otl).

I then grab the Airbrush tool (1), change it to a yellow colour and add a Canvas texture (2). Then I airbrush on a new layer. :3

On a new layer which I will name “white lines” I use the pen tool (1) and adjust the size (2). Then I create all these fun lines!

FLOWER POWER! I take a purple colour and then flip that arrow thing (1) and make a white colour, so that I can flip easily between the colours. Yes, I used a reference for the flowers. I draw the purple outlines, and on a layer underneath (2) I coloured it in white.

Then I add dots and star with a bit of texture. Decorations! Almost done now.

Finally, I write Where Thunder Roars in white and make an orange backing so that the writing is clear. I also added my name in the bottom-right hand corner. Magnifico!

And thus comes the end of our fun little walkthrough (not really).

I’m bored, once again. And I need to write more about Radiance. I am inthe process of doing so, but my creative juices are nawt flowing right. I think they leaked out of my head. And SC is totally right when she says only normal people need sleep. Nawt sleeping FTW! You guys know what I want? I wanna Happy Meal. I hvent had one of those since my thirteenth birthday. I like the six piece chiken nugget with batbecue sauce. And the toys rock. I have all of the My Little Pony and Polly Pocket McDonalds toys. They’re awesome. But in Spanish speaking countries, Happy Meals are called “Cajita Felices” which translates to Happy Box, so either Spanish or English has To change it. I also want an ipad 2. I could do, like, everythig with that. Have you ever wanted todraw, like, shading and colors by yourself, but you Leo want perfect computer generated circles? Well, with the ipad you can do that. IDEA TIME! Okay, this is for everyone with webcams and cameras. I’d like to see how people think of my BotB character, so why if everyone with a camera entered this club thingy where every week, we sen in a pic of that character? Example: ML, RCG, And Nireth enter this club thingy. Well, week one, RCG and nireth draw a pic of ML and send it to him. Then next week, ML and Nireth send RCG a pic of HER character. Then, ML and RCG sendNireth a pic of her character. Just an example. Tell me what you think!

I HAVE THE AWESOMEST NEWS EVER! I have just come up with the coolest Botb character(well, cooler than thunder ninja.) And after I am done her history, I will post it. So you just will have too wait!

OMG! It’s final. I am officially changing my Botb character! For all you people who liked my original Thunder Ninja character, sorry. But she was so..BORING too me. As Nireth said about her character, she had no powers like mine. My Botb is TOTALLY different. But let me tell you this 100% cooler!

I am changing it to Miranda, the demon angel. Well, i guess I will kind of have to Botb characters. I guess this would be Randys split personality. I guess she has personalities, two different people possessing the same body. Cause i like thunder ninja. So I guess when it storms, bumps her head her whole personality changes to Miranda. Does this make sense? LOL. I hope it does.

Long story short: Randy and Miranda are two split personalities. Which first was Randy, but ever since of her beloved adopted father. Her personality split and BOOM! She was Miranda AND Randy.

So, I got on the PHB lately, which was my dream since I was 10. I was recommended on the DigiTalk chat a while ago, and Hijuyo offered me the job. Everyone told me to accept, so I’m on there now. I’m trying to bring back the old vibe that the original PHB had, which to me is informative posts with no negative opinions* with good grammar.

* “WTF a tofu costume??? da creators r retarded omg!!1!”

Next, I went to the grocery store today, and Mom basically bought everything I asked her to. Usually she doesn’t do that. She must’ve gotten paid recently. Now, I’ll live on Mountain Dew: Voltage, Gatorade, Oreo Fudge Cremes, Macaroni and Cheese, Pop-Tarts, Pizza, etc. Even to prove to you that she bought like everything I said, she bought three boxes of Stroganoff because I said I think I like it.

I made a Last.fm today, and easily got confused. I even made this Dave profile picture for it. A waste of disk space.

I listened to Lady Gaga and Eminem all day. The perfect combination.

My sleeping habits are way off. Which isn’t so good since school starts in a few weeks. (About 3.)

Anyway, I’ve been taking Percy Jackson quizzes. (I needed a brake from Fanfiction.) Okay, so I’m like obsessed with those books. They cause weird dreams if read right before sleeping, but they’re awesome.

What I did Yesterday:
Back to School Shopping
Found Crackle nail polish at Claires. My sister bought some, Said it would look awesome for the Homecoming dance. It’s black.
Bought clip in hair streaks. Mom said no to the spray, even though it was sparkly. She said”I don’t want you spraying it on the cat!” She’s probably right, I could see a sparkly Cookeh running through the house.
Got yelled at by Mom countless times because I wasn’t “Walking right.” Then was forced into proper walking form and was reminded about the back brace I might have to wear.(As Explained in my last post, I have a slight curve in my upper back, near my shoulders, and if it gets worse, I’ll need to wear a brace to straigten it out.)

I was in a bit of a pickle – I didn’t know whether to start my spy story, which I’d been putting off for but I have no ideas for it, or re-write Older Nicola’s story The Dark Age. She came over today and we watched a movie and she told me I could re-write her story. Then she went home. I have tons of ideas, but I just can’t type them down!

So I decided to do some graphics designing and then I decided, nah, I’ll do a colouring contest of which the deadline is tomorrow. I stuffed my attempt at colouring. Graphics designing!

I know, I know… Two posts in a row. But I’m bored. It’s thundering really loudly right now. And well… here’s a secret. I know my name is Super Thunder, and I’m supposed to be fearless and stuff, but… I’m scared of thunder. Right now, ifeel like runnig after Jiny, and hiding under the bed. My mama won’t let me cuddle, and my dad is too muscular to be soft enough to cuddle with. Besides, he’s using my laptop, so… Yeah.
Anyway, I has a question. I’m wrurig Radiance’s Adventures, an I wanna know if I can use any of your characters. Not like, to, like, make the whole story around your charcater, just to mention you. And I wanna know who gives me permission I do that.

Hee, sawwy for the crazy title, but I coudlnt think of anything. Anyway, my shower went… Badly.
See, I was all ready to take my five minute shower (that how long the by water works) so I stepped in an opened up the water. Well, I reached to the knob to lower re amount of water (for the hot water to work, it has to be a trickle only, I’m not kidding) and then, something terribel happened. I got electrocuted. Again. Ad worse this time. My arm literally shaked for 4 seconds till I removed it from the crazy knob. And now my arm hurts. D:
Now, my schedule (sawwy for copying, SC):
8:00 AM: I wake up, and lay in bed for half an hour
8:30 AM: I grab my iPod and do my dailychecks
9:30 AM: I get up and choose somethig to wear
9:35 AM: I take a shower
10:00 AM: I’m all ready to go wherever needed.
10:01 AM: I eat breakfast, after realizing we’re not going anywhere.
10:30 AM: I read The Lost Hero
12:30 PM: I have lunch.
2:00 PM: I check m iPod.
3:00 PM: I go on the PHC
4:00 PM: I read a book in French
5:00 PM: I read a book in Spanish
6:00 PM: I have a snack
6:30 PM: I use my laptop
9:30 PM: I am called to bed.
9:35 PM: I use my iPod
11:00 PM: I go to sleep

Well, this old fart is back from school camp! ^^ I had so much fun – I hate to admit it, but even the fourteen mile hike on the beach was fun! We went on a campsite on South Stradbroke Island and instead of cabins, like last year’s camp in the mountains, we slept in tents.

It kind of sucked that Laura left our tent for another tent, but Billie (who is a GIRL) and I had extra room so that was good. We didn’t argue at all for once, but Billie and India had a little feud. Paris left bossy-boots India for our tent on the last night, but she really didn’t want to hurt India’s feelings even though India had hurt her’s many times,

The food was certainly… interesting. I won’t go into detail. Pretty much the only thing that sucked on camp was the thing with Laura and the fact the showers were all together with no doors. We had to shower in our swimmers but I forgot to bring mine so for four days I didn’t shower. D: But everything else was awesome.

Anyway, I came back home and started drawing and put off posting for a few days. I was drawing RCG’s prize for winning me Twisted Wizard on Poptropica. I guess I have it all done, but I need to put on some fancy-shmancy effects and I need to ask what would you like your Poptropican’s hair and eye colour to be? Please don’t ask the hair colour to be black because I really suck at black hair. ^^”

I know that I posted a full-body sketch like ages ago, but I  gave up and decided just to do a head-shot. I’m sorry about how lazy this looks. ^^” Also, I filtered the hair and eyes to be purple, but I can make them absolutely any colour you’d like.

I changed the fringe and took away the goggles coz they were frustrating me, so now it doesn’t look at all like IM. D:

I’m finally starting to write more of “that story” I’m pretty sure I mentioned in another post…maybe? It’s at the end of this post.

I’ve made a new poptropican, that I’m determined to remember the password this time ^U^

I finally found an easier way to use my scanner. I drew a picture, and scanned it, and I’ll have to say; it turned out worse than I expected; it’s all blurry and the colors aren’t as vibrant. Here it is:

Also, I went to  Borders, and since it was going out of business, I got 3 books: Kane Chronicles: The Throne of Fire, FableHaven: Keys to the Demon Prison, and Warriors: The Fourth Apprentice. I’m extremely disappointed they didn’t have FableHaven: Secrets of the Dragon Sancturary, because I cannot read Keys to the Demon Prison until I get Secrets of the Dragon sanctuary, and I own all of them except Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. I’ve been spending a lot of time on the PHC. Not much to say here, but, uh, I’m alright. Don’t think I’m dead if I don’t post much. I’ve been coming up with BOTB plans in my head. So, yeah. I’ll get beck to this blog soon, don’t worry.

First of All, My eye exam went fine and I’m gettin’ a new pair of glasses. It was okay, except I got brought lights shined into my eyes. (And the eye doctors tell you not to do it, then they do…)
Then, I had a suprise Sports Physical and found out I’m either 63 or 64 inches tall.* Which is 5 ft. Something.
I was also told my back had a slight curve to it. And I’ll have to come back in 6 months to make sure it’s doing fine. If it isn’t, I might have to wear a brace. I’m going to try to sit up straighter and walk better. I was told I could play sports anyway, because the curve in my back was only slight, like I said up there ^ somewhere.
Agh, Must.Sit.Straight.(And Still, but I’m not gonna push it that far. I could sit still if I felt like it, but I don’t usually. I save that for School where the yell at you when they see you aren’t sitting super still.)

Today’s Schedule:
4:30: Talk to friend about how terrible the Lightning Theif the movie is,The Doctor’s office, 7th grade, Basketball, and Acting.
5:30:Finish talking, Hang up the phone.
5:45: Look at eye in mirror and realize it is red where it got stabbed by my glasses. (I was putting them on, and I got bumped.)
5:46: Have a Freakout moment about eye.
6:00: Ask Mom about friend spending the night… Repeatedly.
6:30: Ask where sister went.
6:31: Realize where sister went.
6:35: Take a shower and sing annoying songs in the echoey bathroom.
7:00: Make blog post.
8:00 Play with iPod
Between 11:00PM and 12:00 AM: Finish playing with iPod and
sleep.

~I have mixed feelings about 7th grade. I must bug ask my sister about it.~
* I have figured out that doctors can’t measure (or weigh) you right. I am not 5’2. I’m at least 5’4. (I might be messing up somewhere when typing on the caculator.)

O.K., I will not be on very often–maybe not at all–this weekend because my family is going on another trip. Yay! ^^ I’m really excited, but the place we’re staying at has a very patchy internet connection. I’ll try and take lots of pictures for you guys! Last time we went, the weather was nasty and we couldn’t go out on our boat, so hopefully things will be better this time.

Also, it seems to me that Where Thunder Roars has been getting more viewers! I know the stats say otherwise, but I’ve seen 5 people online quite a few times, as well as 7 once!

Based on this, it must be DESTINED Lady Raco and Hiccup and I be together!
